I created this retreat because I believe something deeply:

You can’t afford not to take care of your body.
Not someday. Not when life slows down. Now.

With decades in health and fitness—and a master’s degree in exercise physiology—I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and why so many women feel stuck, frustrated, or unsure if they’re even doing the “right” things.

And it’s not because they’re not trying.

It’s because they don’t have a clear path that actually fits their life.

That’s what this day is about.

A reset.
A refresh.
A way to reconnect with your body—and move forward with clarity and confidence.

After years of working in fast-paced environments, I made a decision to create something different—not just for myself, but for the women I serve.

That journey led me to Bethany Beach.

Because there’s something powerful about this setting—the water, the movement, the space to breathe—that naturally allows you to slow down, think clearly, and reconnect with what matters.

Destination Vitality was created to bring that experience to you.

Not a bootcamp. Not a lecture.
But a thoughtfully designed day that combines movement, coaching, and real-life strategy—so you leave not just inspired, but equipped.

Retreat Schedule

 

9:30 AM – Welcome + Arrival
Ease into the day with light refreshments, a relaxed coastal vibe, and a powerful opening group exercise.

You’ll receive your Coastal Reset Workbook, a simple guided retreat companion with reflection prompts, notes pages, and space to identify the habits and mindset shifts you want to carry home with you.

10:00 AM – Beach Walk: Move with Purpose
A guided walk designed to wake up the body and mind. We’ll focus on posture, breathing, and intentional movement while enjoying the beauty and energy of the shoreline.

11:00 AM – Canal Flow Yoga
A gentle yet effective yoga session to improve mobility, reset the nervous system, and help you feel more grounded, open, and connected in your body.

11:45 AM – Freedom Block 1: Explore + Play
Choose your own experience:

  • Kayak on the canal
  • Walk to the beach
  • Relax on the deck
  • Sign up for a short 1:1 coaching session with Cathy

This is your time to enjoy, explore, and soak in the setting.

12:30 PM – Longevity Lunch
Enjoy a nourishing lunch designed to support energy, strength, and vitality, along with a brief conversation about eating in a way that supports the life you want to live.

1:30 PM – Freedom Block 2: Restore + Reflect
This second freedom block has a different purpose: to help the day start to really sink in.

Choose your own experience:

  • Quiet journaling with guided prompts from your workbook
  • Gentle stretching or mobility work
  • Relaxing by the water on the deck or patio
  • Meaningful conversation and connection with others
  • Optional short 1:1 coaching session with Cathy

This is where you slow down, reflect, and begin turning insight into intention.

2:30 PM – Strength for Life Circuit
A practical, empowering strength session with options for different fitness levels. You’ll learn and experience why strength is one of the most important investments you can make in your future independence and vitality.

3:30 PM – Group Coaching: Your Personal Reset Plan
A guided group discussion to help you connect the dots between your current habits and your future self. You’ll leave with greater clarity, renewed motivation, and practical next steps.

4:15 PM – Closing + Sendoff
We’ll wrap up with a final takeaway, a healthy snack for the road, and a simple commitment to carry forward after the retreat.

Before you leave, you’ll receive a special take-home gift to support your continued progress—something simple, useful, and aligned with the spirit of the day.

Travel and Accommodations

 

If you are unfamiliar with the Maryland/Delaware beaches, Bethany Beach is along a strip of a coastal towns on Route 1/Coastal Highway including Fenwick Island, DE and Ocean City, MD to the south of Bethany, and Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, and Lewes to the north of Bethany. Each town has its charm and are easily drivable between each other. We are 2.5-3 hours from the Washington D.C. area. It's not uncommon to drive round trip in a day, but there's also plenty of accommodations to choose from if you'd like to spend the night before and/or after the retreat. If you choose to do this, I can be your travel guide for things to do!  If you are flying, the closest airports are DC/Baltimore airports as well as Philadelphia.

The closest hotels to are listed below. You can also use your favorite search engine for accommodations near Bethany Beach, or more specifically, South Bethany Beach. I would book something sooner vs. later because things fill up!
